1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services of Al Moiz Online Quran Academy ("we," "us," "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the service, including without limitation users who are browsers, students, parents/guardians, and/or contributors of content.

If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. Our services are offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein.

2. Enrollment and Registration

To enroll in any course at Al Moiz Online Quran Academy, you must complete the registration process by providing accurate, current, and complete information as prompted by our enrollment form. You agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the enrollment form
  • Maintain and promptly update your information to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete
  • Not share your login credentials with any third party
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel enrollments at our sole discretion if we believe that your conduct violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other students, teachers, or our institution.

3. Payment and Fees

All fees for our Quran courses are as listed on our website and are subject to change with prior notice. By enrolling in a course, you agree to:

  • Pay the specified fees for your selected course plan
  • Complete payments before the start of each month of classes
  • Understand that fees are non-refundable except as specified in our refund policy
  • Accept that we may change our fees at any time with 30 days' notice to existing students

Important Payment Information

Payments are processed monthly in advance. Late payments may result in suspension of classes until payment is received. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. All transactions are secure and encrypted.

4. Class Scheduling and Cancellation

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate students worldwide. However, certain policies apply:

  1. Class Scheduling: Classes are scheduled based on mutual agreement between student and teacher. Once scheduled, classes are expected to occur at the agreed time.
  2. Rescheduling: Students may reschedule classes with at least 4 hours advance notice without penalty. Less than 4 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the class.
  3. Teacher Cancellations: If a teacher needs to cancel a class, we will provide advance notice and reschedule the class at no additional cost.
  4. No-shows: Students who do not attend scheduled classes without prior notice will forfeit that class session.
  5. Technical Issues: If technical issues prevent a class from occurring, the class will be rescheduled at no cost to the student.

5. Student Conduct and Responsibilities

As a student of Al Moiz Online Quran Academy, you agree to:

  • Maintain respectful and professional conduct during all classes
  • Arrive punctually for scheduled classes
  • Complete assigned homework and practice as recommended by your teacher
  • Notify your teacher in advance if you need to miss a class
  • Not record classes without explicit permission from the teacher
  • Not share class materials with third parties without authorization
  • Use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms

We reserve the right to terminate enrollment of any student who engages in disrespectful, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior during classes.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
  • Collect or track the personal information of others
  • Interfere with or circumvent the security features of our services
  • Attempt to impersonate another person or user

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through our courses, including but not limited to lesson materials, worksheets, recordings, and teaching methodologies, are the intellectual property of Al Moiz Online Quran Academy or our content suppliers. You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our materials
  • Distribute our teaching materials to non-enrolled individuals
  • Use our materials for commercial purposes without our written consent
  • Record classes for distribution without authorization

You may use our materials for personal educational purposes only during your active enrollment period.

8. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both students and our institution:

  1. Free Trial: No charges apply for free trial classes.
  2. Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period, but you will not be charged for subsequent periods.
  3. Exceptional Circumstances: Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or relocation.
  4. Teacher Issues: If you are dissatisfied with your teacher, we will first attempt to assign a new teacher. If no suitable replacement is available, a refund may be issued for unused classes.
  5. Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results that may be obtained from the use of the services will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through our services will meet your expectations

You expressly agree that your use of our services is at your sole risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Al Moiz Online Quran Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on our services
  • Any content obtained from our services
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount you have paid to us in the last three months.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using our services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Islamabad, Pakistan, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
